Turkey’s pipe exports continue downtrend in June
Turkish welded pipe exports continued their downward trend in June, decreasing by 9.4% on-year to 206,704 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They nevertheless rose from 146,623t in April and 150,615t in May.
The average value of June exports was $989/tonne versus $1,195/t a year earlier and $1,034/t in May 2023.
The most-exported product was rectangular hollow sections with an almost unchanged volume at 88,603t.…
