Turkey expands pig iron supplier range, Russia dominates
Turkey imported 169,379 tonnes of pig iron in February, up by 87% compared to a year ago, at an average price of $428/tonne, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The February tonnage was also 47% up compared to January, when the country imported around 115,142t of pig iron.
