Turkey’s Özborsan Pipe enters bankruptcy
Bankruptcy proceedings have been opened against pipe producer Özborsan Pipe by the 3rd Civil Court of Karadeniz Eregli.
The company, which produces 200,000 tonnes/year at its facility in the Eregli district of Zonguldak, has been in operation for over 30 years. Producing welded steel pipes and profiles, Özborsan exports 80% of its production to countries such as the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the US, Oman, Yemen and Iraq, Kallanish notes.
