Turkey’s Oyak Renault halts production amid semiconductor shortage
Bursa-based Oyak Renault says it has suspended production at some units until 11 January due to problems with the supply of electronic components affecting the world automotive industry.
In a briefing with workers, it was announced that the factory will suspend production at some units between 31 December and 11 January.
The company previously suspended production several times in 2022 for the same reason (see Kallanish passim).
