Turkey's iron ore imports rise in May
Turkey's iron ore imports increased by 63% year-on-year to 878,944 tonnes in May, compared to 540,856t in the same month last year, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Non-agglomerated volumes rose 81% to 510,600t and agglomerated ore imports by 43% to 368,343t.
Brazil's share in non-agglomerated iron ore and concentrate imports decreased from 100% to 66%, despite an 18% increase in volume to 334,526t.
