UAE drags down Turkey’s November rebar exports
Turkish rebar exports declined -1.2% year-on-year to 496,901 tonnes in November, affected mainly by a plunge in United Arab Emirates-bound shipments. The average value/tonne of these exports decreased $188/tonne to $344/t, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The figure follows a drop by -21.1% y-o-y in October, again driven by a fall in exports to UAE.
