Turkey's November HR flats imports decrease on-year
The year-on-year decline in Turkey's hot-rolled flat steel imports deepened in November, mainly due to a drop in sourcing from Russia, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Turkish HR flats imports decreased -26.7% y-o-y to 406,053 tonnes in November. This follows a -20% y-o-y drop in October, an -11.7% fall in September, and an -8.1% decline in August.
