Turkey's November billet imports halve on China-origin halt
Turkey's billet imports decreased -54% year-on-year to 236,111 tonnes in November, mainly affected by the halt in imports from China, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The decline in November's imports was -35.3% over October, when the surge in CIS-origin billet imports somewhat compensated the plunge in intake from China.
