Turkey's March steel exports volume, value soar
Turkish steel exports grew 39.3% on-year to 2 million tonnes in March, supported by increased shipments to Europe and exports to Far Eastern markets, Kallanish understands from the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB).
In value terms, March steel exports surged 60.9% y-o-y to $1.2 billion, driven by an increase in Turkish steel export prices, the association says in a statement.
