Turkish rebar exports to Asia surge in March
Turkish rebar exports to Southeast Asia zoomed year-on-year in March, offsetting the plunge in shipments to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Turkey's total rebar exports in March fell -3.2% y-o-y to 620,060 tonnes. Their total average value/tonne increased to $409/t from $329/t a year ago.
