Turkey’s Kroman to raise port handling, production capacity
Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation says long steel producer Kroman Celik’s environmental impact assessment process has begun for the planned capacity increase project at its port facilities in Kocaeli.
Within the scope of the project, the port, which has a handling capacity of 60,000 deadweight tonnage, plans to increase capacity by 20,000 dwt, notes Kallanish.
The investment is expected to total TRY 350 million ($18.4m).
