Turkey’s Koc Metallurgy to suspend production in January
Koc Metallurgy tells Kallanish it will stop crude steel production for approximately 25 days from the second half of January.
The decision was made in May in order to carry out a planned maintenance.
“We plan to reduce our energy costs by making improvements in the new transformer and electrical systems within the scope of the maintenance works,” says Mert Damar, Koc Metallurgy’s import and export manager.
