Turkey’s Koc Metallurgy hits another output record
Iskenderun-based steel producer Koc Metallurgy has hit what it says could be a new global record for daily steel production, Kallanish notes.
The Turkish steelmaker produced 5,320.030 tonnes of crude steel in 54 casts in 24 hours on 7 November.
It also held the previous world record of 5,108.661 tonnes of crude steel in 51 casts in 24 hours, set in March 2020.
