Turkey’s Kaptan to build solar power plants

Turkish long steel producer Kaptan Demir Celik plans to build two solar power plants in Adana, southern Turkey, according to Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation. Total investment will amount to TRY 195.784 million ($6.4m), notes Kallanish. The first and second plants will have 20,930 and 3,224 panels respectively each with 550 Wp power capacity. The two plants are expected to produce a total of 21,920,250 kWh of electricity annually.
