Turkey’s June, first-half automotive production decline
Turkish automotive production continued its downtick in June. It declined 15.8% on-year to 100,162 vehicles. Passenger car production fell by 9.4% to 68,811 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD).
Total and passenger car production in May were 131,956 and 91,823 units respectively.
Commercial vehicle production in June slumped 27% on-year to 31,351 units.
