Turkey's July seamless imports rise despite China drop
Turkey's seamless pipe imports increased 9.3% year-on-year to 21,194 tonnes in July as the drop in intake from China was offset mainly by higher imports from CIS countries. The total average value/tonne of these imports rose to $1,137/t from $1,072/t a year ago, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
