Turkey’s July HR flats imports surge, driven by Russian supply
Turkey’s hot rolled flat products imports soared 82% year-on-year to 518,341 tonnes in July, driven by supply from Russia. The average price of these imports dropped to $514/t from $732/t a year ago, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
