Turkey's January welded pipe imports from China jump on-year
Turkey's welded pipe imports volume surged year-on-year in January on a jump in procurement from China, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
January's welded pipe imports grew 272% y-o-y to 27,761 tonnes. Their total average value/tonne decreased meanwhile to $1,281/t from $1,858/t a year ago.
