Turkey's January cold-rolled flat steel imports increase
Turkey's cold-rolled (CR) flat steel imports went up 22% on-year in January, driven by increased deliveries from South Korea and Russia, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
January's CR flats imports stood at 91,770 tonnes. Their total average value/tonne rose to $849/t from $797/t a year ago. With a 29.7% y-o-y increase in deliveries to 29,046t, Russia was Turkey's largest CR flats supplier in January…
