Turkey's iron ore imports surge on-year in January
Turkish iron ore imports jumped 73% on-year in January, led by a surge in procurement from Brazil, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical institute (TUIK) data.
January's iron ore imports stood at 1.04 million tonnes. Their total average value/tonne rose to $83/t from $62/t a year ago.
