Turkey’s iron ore imports grow in September
Turkey’s iron ore imports rose by 12.8% year-on-year to 950,101 tonnes in September, after falling the month before. The average price of iron ore imports in September dropped to $77/tonne from $119/t a year ago, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Iron ore imports in Turkey declined -13% year-on-year to 828,076t in August, after two consecutive months of doubling y-o-y.
