Turkey’s IDC to run at full capacity
Turkish electric arc furnace-based long steel producer İzmir Demir Celik (IDC) has ramped up rolling mill production to three shifts after its earlier shift reduction on account of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“After halting our production for a while due to the coronavirus outbreak, we started production on two shifts at our deformed bar and medium profile rolling mills on 21 April,” the firm says in a stock exchange filing seen by Kallanish.
