Turkey’s İDC to invest in solar energy
Turkish long steel producer İzmir Demir Celik (IDC) says its subsidiary İzdemir Enerji Elektrik Üretim has decided to invest in a rooftop solar power plant worth approximately $2 million. This will generate electricity in accordance with technical and environmental standards, according to a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
It aims to create economic added value with an installed power of 2.06MWe in the Aliağa district of İzmir.
