Turkey’s IDC to halt rebar production
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has decided to cancel the remaining two working shifts at its rebar rolling mill.
The steelmaker reduced the number of shifts last week, and personnel levels were brought to a minimum to protect the health of employees on account of the Covid-19 outbreak.
“However, the extent of the epidemic, the legal measures taken, and the situation in sales and the economy led to the need to take new measures,” IDC says in its latest statem…
