Turkey’s IDC to double meltshop capacity

Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) says it will increase its capital by 300% to TRY 1,500,000,000 ($211.6 million). With the funds obtained from the capital increase, the company will settle debts and accelerate its meltshop capacity increase work.
