Turkey’s IDC signs EAF installation contract
Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) says another contract negotiation has been completed to double its steel production capacity from 1.4 million tonnes/year to 2.8m t/y.
The project construction, which will start within two months, is planned to be worth $100 million and to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2023 (see Kallanish passim).
