Turkey’s IDC hikes 2020 revenue, narrows loss
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC)’s revenue increased 26.6% on-year in 2020, recovering from the 1.3% on-year fall in the first half-year.
The Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker reported a 15% on-year increase in finished product sales in 2020 to 1,406,919 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the firm. Billet sales, however, fell by 33% to 10,027t. Exports also declined by 21% to 289,932t.
