Turkey's IDC reduces shifts at rebar mill
Turkish electric arc furnace-based long steel producer İzmir Demir Celik (IDC) has reduced the number of shifts as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, it says in a stock exchange filing.
“As part of business continuity, we have reduced production to two shifts at our deformed bar rolling mill due to the decrease in orders as a result of the coronavirus epidemic and the availability of sufficient inventory,” the firm says in the note seen by Kallanish…
