Turkey’s IDC posts nine-month loss amid sales decline
Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) increased its nine-month revenue by 13% on-year to TRY 19.59 billion ($687.4 million), Kallanish learns from the firm.
However, the company sunk to a net loss of TRY 741.4m in January-September versus a net profit of TRY 426.4m a year earlier.
Finished product sales in January-September decreased by 7% to 1,023,790 tonnes. The company sold 55,141t of billet in this period versus zero last year.…
