Turkey’s IDC more than doubles first-half revenue
Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) more than doubled its revenue in the first half-year to TRY 4.29 billion ($509.8 million), Kallanish learns from the firm.
The company reported a net profit of TRY 29.2m in H1 versus net loss of TRY 458.8m last year. Ebitda rose to TRY 607.9m from TRY 152.8m in H1 2020.
IDC saw a 22% on-year increase in finished product sales in H1 to 760,007 tonnes. Billet sales rose by 213% to 31,450t. …
