Turkey’s IDC cuts production amid unfavourable market conditions

Turkish long steel producer Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) says it will temporarily cut production at its meltshop and rolling mill. IDC will decrease its operations in both melthop and rebar rolling mill by one and two shifts respectively due to the contraction in long steel markets and increase in production costs, Kallanish notes.
