Turkey’s HRC market faces pressure from Chinese prices
Despite reports that China's price decline rate is slowing, some market participants in Turkey feel Chinese prices are seeing more of a collapse than just a downturn, Kallanish notes from sources.
Current offers of China-origin HRC are mostly at $515/tonne cfr Turkey, with the latest date of shipment by 15 September and arrival in October, while $510-512/t cfr is also being discussed as possible.
