Turkey’s HR flats imports keep rising in October
Turkey’s hot rolled (HR) flats imports increased 41% year-on-year to 500,570t tonnes in October as supplies from Russia continued to surge y-o-y. The average price of these imports dropped to $475/tonne from $698/t a year ago, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
