Turkey's HR flats' exports double on-year in July
Turkish hot-rolled (HR) flat steel exports grew 99.9% on-year to 197,136 tonnes in July, supported by increased shipments to Europe, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Compared to June, however, July's exports were down -18.7%. The overall average value/tonne of these exports increased to $537/tonne from $483/t a year earlier, calculations from TUIK data show.
