Turkey's first-half steel exports surge to EU/Far East
Turkish steel exports increased in the first half of the year, supported by a surge in exports to the European Union (EU) and Southeast Asia, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB).
Turkey's total first-half steel exports stood at 9.7 million tonnes, up 16% on-year. The overall value of these exports increased 31% to $5.8 billion, CIB says in a statement.
