Turkey's finished steel consumption, output rise in Q1
The pace of increase in Turkey's finished steel production continued surpassing the pace of growth of its finished steel consumption in the first quarter, the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) says.
Production of finished steel rose 5.3% year-on-year to 9.1 million tonnes in Q1. At the same time, consumption of finished steel products in the country increased 9.3% y-o-y to 8.5mt, the association says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
