Turkey's finished steel consumption growth slows in May
Turkey's finished steel consumption kept rising in the first five months of the year, although the pace slowed down, according to the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
In January-May consumption rose 7.9% year-on-year to 14.81 million tonnes, after an 11% growth in January-April. Long products consumption went up 10.4% to 7.71mt in the five months, while flats consumption was up 5.3% to 7.1mt, the association says in a statement seen by K…
