Turkey's February iron ore imports decline
Turkey's iron ore imports decreased in February, led by a drop in intake from Brazil, following the surge registered the month before, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
February's iron ore imports came in at 965,154 tonnes, down -12.5% on-year and -7.2% over January. The total average value/tonne of these imports increased to $89/t from $61/t a year earlier.
