Turkey’s February CR flats exports rise on-year
Turkish cold rolled flat products exports rose 17% year-on-year to 22,882 tonnes in February, thanks to growth in shipments to North Africa and the US, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data. The average value/tonne of these exports dropped to $906/t from $1,439/t a year ago.
Compared to January these exports declined -20%. January exports were boosted by higher shipments to European countries.
