Turkey's Erciyas Pipe posts higher first-quarter revenue
Turkish pipemaker Erciyas Boru increased its January-March revenue by 4% on-year to TRY 1.712 billion, Kallanish learns from the company’s standalone income statement.
However, on a USD basis, revenue fell 37.4% to $55.4m due to the fast depreciation of the lira. Although cost of sales fell to $43.9m from $70.2m last year, the company posted a profit decrease of 23.3% to $976,854 in the first quarter.
