Turkish economic, construction indices end upswing in June
Turkey’s economic confidence index ended its upswing in June, falling by 2.5% on-month to 101.1, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index, meanwhile, fell from 92.2 in May to 88.9 in June. The index for building activity over the past three months fell by 1.3 points to 100.3 in June, while that for current overall order books fell to 83.2 from 87.3, notes Kallanish.
