Turkey's economic confidence slides in February
Turkey’s economic confidence index fell 0.4% month-on-month in February to 99.0, following its strong start to 2024, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Nevertheless, Turkish construction confidence, which was at 90.9 in January, rose to 91.8 in February (see Kallanish passim). An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
