Turkey’s economic confidence recovers in September
Following the August decline, the sharpest since the coronavirus epidemic, Turkey’s economic confidence index recovered in September. It increased 1.3% on-month to 95.4, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index, meanwhile, rose to 88.3 in September from 87.4 in August (see Kallanish passim).
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
