Turkey’s economic confidence recovers in December
Following a decline in November, Turkey’s economic confidence index has recovered in December. It rose 1.1% month-on-month to 96.4, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index, which was at 91.0 in November, fell to 88.0 in December (see Kallanish passim). An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
