Turkey’s economic confidence recovers in August, GDP surges
After hitting its lowest level since May 2021 in July, Turkey’s economic confidence index rebounded in August, by 1% to 94.3, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
The rise in economic confidence stemmed from increases in the consumer and construction confidence indices.
