Turkey’s economic confidence storms back in April
Turkey’s economic confidence ended its downward trend in April. It rose 3.5% on-month to 102.2 and hit a 1.5-year high, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index nevertheless fell from 88.5 in March to 88.4 in April (see Kallanish passim).
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
