Turkey’s economic confidence index slides in February

Turkey’s economic confidence, which entered 2023 with a rise, declined slightly in February, falling 0.3% on-month to 99.1, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Turkey’s construction confidence index fell in February, meanwhile. The index, which was at 93.2 in January, fell by 3.6% last month to 89.8 (see Kallanish passim).
