Turkey’s economic confidence registers uptick to start 2024
Turkey’s economic confidence index has started 2024 on the rise. It increased 3.1% month-on-month in January to 99.4, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index, which was at 88.0 in December, rose to 90.9 in January (see Kallanish passim). An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
