Turkey's economic confidence grows in September, correction likely
Turkey's economic confidence index increased by a further 3.1% month-on-month in September to 88.5, though the pace slowed compared to last month.
The growth was driven by increases in consumer, real sector (manufacturing industry) and services confidence indices, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). This is the fifth consecutive increase seen in the economic confidence index since its dip in April.
