Turkey’s economic confidence continues decline in July
Turkey’s economic confidence continued to fall in July, hitting a four-month low. It declined 1.8% on-month to 99.3, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index, meanwhile, which was at 88.9 in June, declined to 88.1 in July (see Kallanish passim).
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
